Cambridge University nominated Harland Simon UPS as their main contractor to upgrade the Power Protection System to support their main computer system which supports the Cambridge wide educational network.
Harland Simon’s role as main contractor included responsibility for all site activities including:-
- Health & Safety
- Site access, control and monitoring
- Procurement of all main contractors including: Building Services, Mechanical Installation, Electrical Installation, Air Conditioning & Generator
The project was completed within budget and the 24 week project timescale.
The equipment provided was supplied strictly in accordance with the Cambridge University Estate Management Departments detailed technical specification.
